My tastes in music is broad and sometimes eclectic. I was raised on big band music, old Rock and Roll and Country & Western; and in fact it was the only music I was exposed to until I was 8. My dad was in the Army and we were posted in Germany. There I discovered KISS, Kim Carnes, Janis Joplin, Jethro Tull, Maggie Bell and many other different artists and genres. I listen to most anything but am not overly fond of gangster rap and hard core punk and acid. I love classical music but avoid opera.
I'm married now and we have three children; like myself, the love the "classics"; trasnlation: AC/DC, Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, etc. They have a great appreciation for the old and new rock, and I hope they discover there is something to be said for a variety of music genres.
I still love the music from my early years, and have re-discovered a passion for big band and C&W. I love anything bluesy or jazzy, or anything mixed with them.
