I'm twenty-four and I juggle motherhood, chronic illness, and college (currently taking a break while working towards my Associate of Science degree . I'm engaged to a sheriff's deputy and I stay home with my two wonderful children. I'm mommy to an incredibly smart, snuggly four year old little boy and a beautiful, sassy baby girl. I'm a biology major contemplating several different intended career paths (college professor or doctor). I usually juggle working along with my other endeavors, however, I've become a temporary stay at home mommy due to a very tragic loss. My son lost his father (my closest friend in the world) just fifteen days after his fourth birthday. He was an amazing daddy, friend, and my other half. Right now, being there for my son when his daddy can't is my most important job. Seeing him grieve (while I'm a hopeless mess myself) is the most painful thing I've ever had to endure.
Rest in peace, Codie (02/04/91 - 04/18/16)
I grew up listening to 80s hairbands and 90s alternative rock and grunge. I'm not really a big fan of most modern music. Most of my favorite bands got big in the 90s and even if they're still putting out new stuff these days, I still think their older stuff is way better.
My musical taste belongs in the 90s.
