I am a 55 year old man who works as a security guard at a major trucking facility in southwest Indianapolis, IN. I spent a total of 23 very proud years in my countries uniform. I spent my enlisted time, (a total of seven and one half years), in the Marine Corps from August 27, 1974 and I received my honorable discharge on February 24, 1982.
After I got out of the Corps, I went to college at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. While there I joined Army ROTC and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in December of 1984. While a Cadet, I joined the Indiana National Guard and spent time as a Cadet Officer with several units. I was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in December of 1984. I served as a Tactical Military Intelligence Officer in four separate units and completed my career at G2, 38th Infantry Division and retired as a Captain in March of 1998.
I am engaged to an absolutely wonderful woman named Ellen. We have been together for 11 years and I just don't know what I would do without her.
I am a movie buff. My favorite movie of all time is "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Ward Bond, Victor McGlaglen, Barry Fitzgerald, Arthur Shields, and directed by John Ford. As a general rule I don't watch a lot of network TV but I never miss "Castle".
I have rather eclectic tastes in music. They range from Classical, through American Folk Rock and Adult Comtemporary, some Country, Easy Listening to Swing.
