I'm a retired wife and mother of 4 children and grandmother to 10. I'm friendly, fun and funny. I love to make people laugh.
I love music and have since I was very little. I grew up listening to Perry Como, Frankie Laine and Patti Page, right on the cusp of Rock 'n Roll and Doo Wop in the 50s, then was in high school listening to The 4 Seasons, Dionne Warwick, The Isley Brothers, Joey Dee and the Starliters and Bobby Rydell.....then on to The Shirelles, The Ronettes, The Crystals and all of the other girl groups that Phil Spector produced with his "wall of sound", and then, when I was 16, The Beatles totally opened up a whole other musical experience for me, along with all of the British Invasion bands. Somewhere in all of that the Motown sound was HUGE on the radio with Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Supremes, the Four Tops and The Temptations, Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions, and I loved that, too!
After High School, I pretty much kept up with the popular bands and learned to love the music my kids listened to. I particularly liked Alternative artists and I love Nickelback. I actually also love Bluegrass music, but really don't care that much for straight Country music. All of the Heavy Metal bands are good (Van Halen, Ozzy, etc.) and I also like Classical Music & Scott Joplin's Ragtime music from the turn of the 20th Century....go figure!
