I grew up with the Beatles and loved to hear that rock & roll beat though my father was a charter member of the Ambassadors of Harmony Barbershop Chorus, then called the Daniel Boone Chorus. I grew up listening to four part harmony along with rock and roll. My family was highly musical and everyone had an instrument and many bands were formed in those early years. I did not join a band till much later in life. I sang in a classic rock group lead vocals and harmony for a short time. I play the acoustic guitar and a little keyboard. I also like to listen to classical music because it inspires my imagination and helps me think of the wildest things. I like most types of music but some I will turn off sooner than others. I am a filmmaker and understand the importance of how music will set the tone of a scene and build the necessary emotion, tension or victory. Music can separate, bring together, meld, energize, subdue, inspire. It can touch you deeply and make you feel things never before experienced.
