I'm a woman in her mid 50's and I am exploring all the music I love and some new music. I am open to all types of music. But, lately I've been going back to some of the music of my youth. Aretha Franklin, Smokey and the Miracles, Temptations, Martha and Vandellas, Stevie Wonder (my "real" cousin his dad and my grandmother were 1st cousins "Jenkins"), Marvin Gaye, all Motown music, Grover Washington, Coltrane you must be a deep Jazz lover to understand the music of Coltrane. I'm not that cool, but I do like many of Coltrane's music. I love sax men the deepth of a saxaphone warms my soul. Gospel music is a part of my spirit but I also enjoy R&B. some Hip Hop, Country, Frank Sinatra(who doesn't love him), Jazz (famous sax men). I simply love MUSIC it makes me feel alive.
