I'm a music lover with broad and narrow tastes. I like old time swing (pronounced Sa-Wing), coubow songs, big band and swing, Retro swing, lounge, 50's-60's Vegas-style lounge, Exotica and "martini music". That's was I listen to most, right now. I have a collection of BBVD (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), Brian Setzer, and such, and have worn the grooves right off the CDs.
I also listen a lot of contemporary Christian (rock-ish), but sing old-timey gospels when I'm driving (alone... I don't subject anyone else to my strange perversions).
I like harmonies, so I generally sing along with the radio, except when I'm listening to talk radio.
I loved Oh Brother Where Art Thou for the old sounds and harmonies.
I like country and classical, but just don't listen that much right now. Jazz was another favorite, but my interests drift back to the older jazz.
I love some of the old cowboy movie songs, like "The Biscuit Blues" -- from a Roy Rogers movie.
I listen to Old Time Radio, and love Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and crooners in general, but generally more upbeat songs. I love Luois Prima for the energy and the humor.
I am impressed with Pandora.
