Grew up in the eastern panhandle of WV 2 hrs from DC and 3 hrs from Pittsburgh in Keyser, and now for some reason i'm back here. It really is a little niche' of a town that you would not think of growing up in the 70's would have provided such a wide exposure to music. But it did culminating through friends exposure and being them while they formed their own bands. A small college two blocks from my house with a music program was pretty interesting add that to parents friend being the music prof. there. I guess my real appreciation of music came from my picking up a trumpet in the 4th grade and plugging away at it for the next 12-15 yrs of my life with the whole time wishing I had chose the drums on that day when the music teacher came to 4th grade math class and asked if you are interested in band? If so please check an instrument on the sheet. So played that thing a long time..... Ha Ha!!..... Right now have to say this point in my life I've been listening to alot of diff. stuff..
