Peace seems to slip by me as I gain the strains of the ones I love. It troubles me to realize I have found peace with myself and yet have not attained the ability to have peace for others. I would chose not to be affected by the choices and consequences of others and only my own choices however, life is life. And, I live growing older and starting to grey not realizing, if I'm at all significant to myself when I love those who are not significant to themselves. I march like a soldier in the army where A war is never one or lost. My war is holding to my commitment rationally without the comfortable numb weekness of drugs. But, I realize why the dead souls medicate themselves to stay alive. Perhaps, the oposing forces of war should unload there artilery on them. I'm just dunking trying not to be amoungst the lost souls. Feeling a little lost because that seems to be all that surounds me. The lost souls of soldiers fighting for a cause that should gain a life instead of losing one. So, what have I gained if all has lost itself over and over again for a new generation to stand at the same bridge of understanding. I never wanted the star of valor for picking up the spirits and souls of the lost and carring them on my shoulder. I just wanted them to live again and find the way. But there getting old and still lost, they have been at war so long with themselves there is no home to return to. So, maybe thats why they stay lost? Or they didn't realize how many times the 3 little bigs tried to build a house the wolf couldn't blow down...huff puff...thank god for the soul and spirit of song...to feel, live and find the beauty the peace...of it all.
