The first CD I ever bought was Jars of Clay. I like the melo sound of them and started looking for more of it. All my friends were into Metal so I started listening to that but found a lot of their taste to be thrasher metal and I didn't really care for it. By pure curiousity and because I like the cover I picked up Silverstein's first CD and loved it. I bought Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, and Poisen the Well all of which were suggested on the front cover of Silverstein's CD. At the time I didn't know I like Emo music. Mostly because I didn't know what Emo was but I really liked the vocals which reminded me a lot of In Flames (one of my favorite bands along with Imogen Heap). All in all I'll listen to pretty much anything but I prefer rock. Growing up with four sisters and two brother I was given preview into all different kinds of music from Led Zepplin to Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony.
