I'm a game addict meets creation maniac. I love playing games, thinking about games and most of all, creating and designing games. I got a sick imagination which is constantly working, spitting 10 game ideas per day. I'm currently working at my 2nd game.
Where does music come into all this??? Well, music is my soul mate and traveling companion in the realms of creation. It is the soundtrack of my life. I listen to many types of music but the two main categories are: Metal and Electronica. If I would have to go down to details: Extreme Symphonic Metal, Black Metal, Progressive Metal, and Gothic Metal. In the Electronic area: Drum'n'Bass, DubStep, Electronica (like Autechre) and Techno (The Crystal Method, Prodigy). As for bands, other than the ones I just mentioned: Metal: Dimmu Borgir, Samael, Devin Townsend, Clawfinger, Hollenthon, Kovenant, Tristania, KoRn, Marilyn Manson, Amorphis, Finntroll and for Electronica: Black Sun Empire, Pendulum, Ugress.
I am also very short of help in the design department (art). I got tons of game types and stories in me, but I get very little help to transform the ideas into pixels ::- ). That’s mostly because I don’t have money to pay for a dedicated artist yet. So I manage with what volunteer help I get, because I don’t even have my first game released yet. Until that will happen, I won’t even have with what to prove that what I’m saying here is true (that I can make games, hehe).
I’ve been doing computer programming since 1998 so I got lots of experience in it. I’ve worked my way through Pascal, Delphi, Visual Basic, C++, C#, PHP, JS, HTML, SQL and ActionScript in these 11 years since I started programming. I’m what you would call a workaholic, but in fact, I’m simply an extremely driven person and I’m immensely passionate about game development. I also love writing and that is why my ultimate goals include games with nice stories and open-ended worlds. I’m actually also working at a few tools to help in game development.
