From celebrity parties in Malibu to the Hollywood Hills, rooftop riots in NYC, and cave masquerades all throughout Hawaii, Paper has slayed crowds. Past residencies include venues like ClubNokia's VIP room in downtown L.A., Air Conditioned in Venice Beach, and hosting a regular radio show heard worldwide on KDNK 88.3 in Aspen and at kdnk.org. Paper has also Djd all throughout Southern California, including at LAX Hollywood, Basque, On The Rox, Mood, Forbidden City, and Margarita Mix.
Paper, born Jeffrey Indiana Schwartz, hails from the Colorado Rocky Mountains. First introduced to turntables and freestyling at a young age, he quickly evolved to invent his own unique mixing, scratching, and lyrical techniques.
After graduating from The Conservatory Of Recording Arts And Sciences for Audio Engineering in 2004, Paper moved to L.A. and a year later met actor/rapper Ultralove. In 2006 they formed the legendary hip-hop duo Love & Paper and soon were performing to sold out crowds.
In 2009 Paper released His DJ Album "Vinyl Vigilante", this genre mashup features confections like Bob Dylan Vs E40, cocktails like Micheal Jackson Vs LMFAO and sonic assimilations like Pink Floyd Vs The Ying Yang Twins. His lyrical influences include Aesop Rock, Mike D, Pharcyde, Wu Tang Clan, Beck and Outkast. Paper's DJ influences range from Grand Master Flash to Girl Talk.
Paper is currently working with artists and produces like Bobby Bockel, Zak Rice, Ultralove, Cav3, Joe Con, DJ Lyf and DJ Kwaku. Together they are executing the International Electronic Takeover. Stay tuned....
