I grew up listening to mostly 70's and early 80's A/C with some Country and Classic Rock thrown in there. Big in our house were Journey, Boston, Styx, Chicago, Foreigner. In Junior High I turned to Hair Metal (Poison, Quiet Riot, Krokus, Twisted Sister) and then in High School I fell in love with Rap, R&B and Dance/House. I have always had a love for the music of Michael Jackson, all of it, but particularly his young 20's. In my twenties and early thirties, I lost much of my music sensibility in favor of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM), not all of it was bad, and it actually spawned some pretty phenomenal artists, mostly in the alternative/rock genre (Evanescence, RED, Switchfoot to name a few), but mostly it's just really bad, "prom songs to Jesus" as I've heard it called - my brother-in-law will not like that I said that. At this stage, I have grown a fond appreciation for artists such as Kings of Leon, The Script, Sara Bareilles, John Mayer, and OneRepublic. I guess you could say I'm all over the
