I'm sixteen years old, English, and, I've been told, disgustingly bourgeois. This isn't actually in anyway my fault, it's a fundamental misunderstanding on my contemporarie's parts, who seem to think that the use of lexically advanced vocabulary and actual grammer denotes 'posh-ness'. Not that class any-more has anything to do with one's economic standing.
Musically my tastes are fairly wide ranging. I essentially love anything that isn't created believing that 'Gangsta rap' is a high point of 21st culture. I'm a particular fan of the feminist revival music of the nineties. Riot grrrl bands such as bikini kill, communicate a rawness of emotion that i find, regardless of the subject matter to which it pertains, is difficult to find now-adays, and should be cherished. The same is true of black metal and death metal. There's a bare-faced, shameless portrayal of emotion to it, thats haunting, when its done correctly.
