The only race I ever talk about, The Human Race. Take care of those less fortunate than you. Take extra care with those more fortunate than you. And try to get to know your local homeless population. They are not just drunks, druggies or crazies anymore. They may be in your family or a friend. This country and the society within it does not want you to give a s**t for others, intentionally creating apathy through virtually everything you see around us distracting us with the material and inconsequential as we allow our humanity to slowly fade. We willingly place our lives, the lives of loved ones, the lives of our children directly into the selfishly created racist, classist, homophobic, xenophobic, capitalist, rich-get-richer, poverty stricken bullshit paradigm we deny exists. We lie to ourselves every day. It starts to end when you take that step forward and help one person at a time. . A slight benefit of the doubt, a smile, conversation,or positive comment can change a person for the better.
