Simply beautiful, one of Radioheads best and easy to listen to as well, unlike some of their more experimental stuff. I love the simple voice/melody but with those odd touches in the background that would come out more and more as they moved forward.
This song helped concrete my love for the band. Inspires a feeling of a haunted happiness, when the enjoyable times melt into the tears and woes of the things that without them we would never know how to smile. Without something to make us want to stay, we would have nothing to run from. Odd band they are, but everyone has something to find in Radiohead.

This was such a perfect end to William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. I was so upset it wasn't on the soundtrack(s), but then of course OK Computer came out.
wow.... added to my list of now 6 good radiohead songs. Such an odd band.. sigh...

Prettiest song ever, yet so haunting.

The original is also Radiohead, the instrumental is heart-breakingly beautiful, sort of haunting. They are very original, and has put out some awesome music. The piece is called Exit Music(from a movie). Artist Radiohead!
I know I've heard an instrumental version of this song, with a solo violin or viola. It is heart-breakingly beautiful. Does anyone know who this version is done by? And furthermore, which is the original?
