A house diva whose productions use live instrumentation just as much as electronics, Robin S. debuted with the Top Ten hit "Show Me Love." The Queens, NY native was signed by Big Beat Records in 1993, and debuted with the hot single, which climbed the charts during 1994, and spurred her first album, also titled Show Me Love. After working on her songwriting for several years, she began recruiting producers such as Eric "E-Smoove" Miller and Todd Terry to work on her second album. Released in 1997 on Atlantic, From Now On reflected broader interests for Robin S., encompassing gospel and ballads in addition to hi-NRG dancefloor material. ~ John Bush, Rovi
This song actually peaked at #1 on the Hot Dance Music Club Play and #5 on Billboard top 40. Her 2nd hit was Luv 4 Luv; did well but not as well as this song. I saw her perform many times and she was amazing accapella and very gracious to her fans.
Junior Year Campus House Parties '93, whooaaaaaaaa yeah!

This did not flop here in the US except for maybe on the top 40 charts which are worthless anyway. They played it all the time in the clubs. Great song to dance to! memories.....

I LOVE Robin S. Her real name is Robin Stone. This flopped in the US but became a big hit in Europe. Then it's popularity spread to the US and we still love it today.
