A song can mean something different to each person who hears it, Listen to it, Feels it, Experience it .. Music is completely universal and yet, individual and so deeply personal at the same time.. nice false dichotomy :) . . . I absolutely love this song.. it actually does knock me sideways ..

Wow!! One of the dumbest list of comments I have ever read!
This song was released on both the Citizen Cope album and Santana's album, pandora didn't do anything wrong.... Much Love Pandora.. U make my work days so much easier to get thru with out eating any bullets. U always seem to know what to play.. that music genome project is highly successful in my opinion.
no matter what genre(s) you listen to... good is good, right?... genre is a record company term anyway... i enjoy what is GOOD.... don't think, just listen !!!!....
Santana always collaborates with lyricists. hes a guitarist. This is citizen cope! Dont you people have internet?

I was wondering if anyone else had caught this slip-up...Santana on the guitar I think, but that's Citizen Cope's voice for sure. Hopefully Pandora will eventually catch this...still an awesome song, regardless of who's getting the credit

f**k. Can't anybody scroll down and read the other comments? About 3/4 of everyone here kept asking "Is this citizen cope?" Just read the other comments instead of posting the same question repeatedly. I know reading is hard, but really it has its uses. Tards...
This is def Citizen Cope from his: The Clarence Greenwood Recordings album. Can't believe they got it wrong and gave Santana top billing. This is my most fave Cope song along with Bullet and a Target and Keep Asking.
Isn't this a Citizen Cope song? Either the Citizen Cope version is the most amazingly similar cover ever or Pandora made a booboo. Or maybe I'm embarrassing myself right now...
I didn't even know that the song sideways existed. What a great tune. Santana pulls you along with those riffs, and Cope tells you where your goin'. Great duet.
I'm also not a huge fan of this version. Just does not blend well.
But I am glad Cope is getting more recognized...I fell in love with his music when no one knew of him...seen him 4 times...check out his acoustic shows!!
I don't like Santana playing over this song...maybe with some better engineering, but the original track plays too softly in the background. Might have worked if the sound levels were equal and it sounded more like Santana playing WITH Cope...
To play with Santana is certainly an honor, I was loving Santana years before I was introduced to Cope. As far as recording together (which they are not), that does not give him permission to claim the song as his, only if he writes it and has a guest vocalist. This is simply him soloing over the already existing Cope song, they are not in the studio together here. Again, I assume it's Pandora's discrepancy
People are usually honored to play with Santana ... I am sure Copes does not mind :) ... also Santana's guitar sounds better that a lot of people's voices.

If you know much about Santana, he doesn't sing. So he typically partners with other musicians to do awesome re-recordings of some of their songs, this then gives him rights to also claim them as his songs. Duh.

Came up on my Cope station as well, interesting that Carlos "soloing" over Copes song allows him to put his nam on it (of course it may be Pandora's fault)
