Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band

The Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band is a group with not one, but two missions: to play outstanding music, and to keep cajun free of external influences. With its peerless lineup, it succeeds well in both respects. Savoy is not only one of the nation's leading accordianists, he is also a master craftsman and makes the instruments he plays. Doucet, when not fronting for the popular group Beausoleil, plays fiddle, while Savoy's wife, Ann, plays guitar. The Savoy's live in Eunice , my hometown now. They are the most Gracious People you will ever want to meet. All of the family are musicians. They also have a Jam session every Sat. morning open to the public. I go often to enjoy the music, Boudin , and fresh coffee, not to mention seeing the wonderful people who come to play and listen to Our Cajun Music !!!!!!! Come Visit, you will have Wonderful Time..
