I somehow sense it's a touchy subject. No one commented on the actual lyrics or feel w/in the song. Perhaps we are meant to think that way.

Who is needy? I am. I like love,... I like the feeling of "bringing" what my partner needs. I sense "purpose" when we are happy together, accepting who we are and complimentin g each other. I think she is "needy" for that man who will meet a lovers request and be there for the other. (I want the same for me and for others,... to know love is there.)

Listen to the words Serbanszp. When you're you're feeling despondent you dont ususlly feel like breaking into a Fred Astaire number. The backup completes her like Peter and Olivia.
Nah! The vocal performance is great! There wasn't any other way she could've sung this song. It's perfect in my opinion.

Also, the 4-Tet remix is killer! This one is really good too though!
