I remember Scarborough Fair/Canticl e from Parsley Sage Rosemary & Thyme. I think it was 1967 but not sure. What a song and what an album. And one hell of a year.

This was the title song on the second album I ever bought. Some great song on the album..the first album that S&G took the reins in recording.I think Roy Halee was the co producer.. a perfect for them..as George Martin was for the Beatles.

I love S&G and this song, but this s**t freaks me out. Would work perfectly in a horror movie

I think this is my favorite version. Sometimes any of the versions of this song make me want to weep, or feel blessed.

Great version. Listen to this in the 60s when my Mom allowed me to play her records but not to turn on the TV. Now I hear these songs and think of how much my Mom loves me. Very lucky I was, thanks Mom.

If you remove the vocals completely you might have a stage song for Tetris, Zelda, or another classic Nintendo video game. Russian Folk.

It wasn't, originally. Art Garfunkel cut six verses out of the song so that a poem written by Paul Simon could be woven into the background.

Wow. I didn't know this was a protest song.

Maybe my favorite from these guys. That's a tough call, though, as they have a few songs I could say that about.

This is a very old song, dating back to medieval times. Simon and Garfunkel do it wonderfully.
