Live free or let me die I will not let you take away my freedom
Here's the thing; I'm actually not a big skillet fan. However, this song is amazing!!

"We're lucky to be in America. To live free or not at all." Hahaha what the heck that's so wrong. America is the most unfree place I have ever been in. How in the world are we living free with all this bull the government is coming up with to restrict us from what we want to do. Ridiculous I say.
Why is it that every single time I see comments on something to do with Skillet people are arguing about religion. I mean, I'm a Believer, but if there are people who aren't, you don't have to browbeat them about it. That's why I love Skillet. They let their music do the talking for whoever is listening. They have their beliefs, but they can reach anyone.
Whoa whoa whoa. Tell me when evolution has been disproved. Ever. Regardless, I love skillet. Awesome band, awesome songs. One of few bands I actually like most of the songs to (:

sorry to tell you, gc1992, but evolution has been disproven time and time again
Where is this infinite proof of God? Some book that is written by someone that you are trying to prove they exist? How is that a logical statement at all? Where is the evidence that beyond a doubt proves that there is some God up there judging us and watching what we do? At least science can back up evolution with data and not some stupid book that is written by someone who is yet to be proven real.
and brian, belive it or not, There is almost infinite proof for god and against evolution

Everyone (but God) does sin, thus I'm imperfect and need a savior. What makes life interesting is that a perfect, sin-less Almighty Creator would be the Ultimate Sacrifice, suffering and dying to take my punishment on himself, just so that I could have the opportunity to have a relationship with him? However, I am with you in that the lyrics of some 'Christian' artists could be for most anything. Music, by feel and unspecific lyrics, can mean anything to anyone.

@ Brian: you're an anti-religion agnostic theist? You believe that the existence of a deity is unknowable and unlikely, and would put the burden of proof upon someone who does believe in deity, but believe in at least one? Also, anti-religion is a tad vague. This just looks, at first glance, like a 'truth is what you believe it is' sort of statement.
Music can mean anything to anyone. I'm an anti religion agnostic thiest. Skillet's music, to me, is about defiance, will, and strength not jesus. and guess what. Everyone sins. That's what keeps life interesting.
@ criscione.3 I agree completely! Skillet has an incredibly powererful sound, and the messages that they send are even better. Go Skillet! LIVE FREE OR LET ME DIE! God bless out military men and women, and the freedom they give us each day.

Science never can, nor will, prove anything. All science is for is using our interpretati o n s of observed facts to show what is most likely.
Interpretati o n s is key. You will interpret things different based on your feelings, hopes, and beliefs.
So evolution hasn't necessarily been disproven, but it certainly hasn't been proven.
Regardless, I love skillet. Awesome band, awesome songs. One of few bands I actually like most of the songs to (:
