SocialBurn

Socialburn originated in the mid-'90s around high-school pals Neil Alday (vocals/guitar), Dusty Price (bass), and Brandon Bittner (drums). After forming on the fly in their tiny central Florida hometown, the group expanded into the scene in nearby Tallahassee. Listeners took a liking to their straightforward post-grunge growl, and Socialburn was soon a hit at local radio. By 2000, guitarist Chris Cobb had been added and a self-released CD had dropped. SB branched out with gigs in Jacksonville and Orlando, hoping to generate label interest in an area already buzzing with the success of Creed. Another self-released disc followed, and by 2002 Socialburn's work had paid off with a deal on Elektra. They debuted in February 2003 with Where You Are, a workmanlike slice of post-grunge hard rock heavily influenced by Nirvana. Extensive touring followed, with the band joining types like Blue October, Default, and Seether out on the road. ~ Johnny Loftus, Rovi

They totally rocked and were cool as s**t too! They lived in Blountstown, but the stage was their home! Miss the hell out of you guys!

Also thought it was the singer of Fuel at first... In a good way =)
They sound exactly like fuel... I had to look it up to make sure it wasn't the ate singer
I loved Socialburn when I lived in Tallahassee. Glad to see them on Pandora!
They can rock... used to be married to the bassist. alot of talent there!
I was in college at FSU when these guys were in the midst of getting big and it was awesome to hear them. It's a shame they didn't last.
They were not from central Florida, but north Florida. Blountstown, to be exact. Great guys, wish their success had lasted.
it does sound like puddle
Puddle of Mudd sounds like Socialburn, not the other way around.
thought it was puddle of mudd
Alot like Nirvana and Puddle of Mudd, but the singers voice has more of a mainstream feel to it, showing hints of Nickelback and 12 Stones. Altogether not too bad.
Total Puddle of Mudd and Bush also. I like it though.
ais4amyzing
Sounds identical to Puddle of Mudd, especially the vocals.

I thought they were puddle of mudd.
Down came on, could have sworn it was Puddle of Mudd. They sound exactly the same.
Never heard this, but its awesome! Reminds me of Nirvana
Sounds great! It makes me want to get up & dance!
Sounds a lot like Daniel Johns from Silverchair' s early stuff..mid 90's Frogstomp stuff.
they sound exactly the same
Lead singer sounds amazingly like Puddle of Mudd.
I like this band. I wonder if they are working on anything new?
the drummer now works at my local rent-a-cente r and is the coolest guy i know. he says they got too big too fast. but i always loved their music when they used to play at the college we all went to. they do a great cover of creep from radiohead
dewmang
They do sound similar to Puddle Of Mudd, but there's definitely a different sound in them.
They are a good band but is all you guys talk about PoM, seriously, good band, sounds like but isn't
Sorry but reading all comments and see Puddle of Mudd everywhere
Sounded like future leader of the world to me.. ha ha? Not bush or puddle.
How do you guys think they sound like Bush? Sounds like Puddle of Mudd more than anything else. I really thought it was PoM, until I opened up the window and saw it wasent (I keep it minimized at work).

i like bush....oh wait you mean the president/ba n d . haha!!!!!!!
Interesting comments. I hate Bush (both the president and the band). Not because of Gavin's voice but because their lyrics and melodies are retarded. This band got it right.
