It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

@Colin Asam James Rideout I can see what you mean, but if that were the case then the modern day prequels should be expected to evoke emotional response just as strongly, too, since they had the same composer. I think the camaraderie between Luke and Han, the love between Han and Leia, the goals of the rebels, the true power of the Force, and the evil of the Empire are much more believable in the original trilogy.

The Horn part gives me chills. I want to play for an orchestra like this.
I would love to watch Star Wars with people who haven't seen the movies or heard the theme music yet and vicariously experience it for the first time through them! I love Star Wars music.
A nice topical overview of the entire first trilogy's motifs and themes. Undoubtedly, the music makes Star Wars. Without the stirring emotional responses to the score, the original trilogy wouldn't have been half as impressive.
Hearing the New Hope theme makes me want to look over my shoulder to keep an eye out for incoming TIE Fighters...
That is a very good question, Lauren. I guess George Lucas and John Williams are no longer on the same level? I kinda feel like Mr. Lucas has gone downhill in the last 10-15 years. :(
The piccolo is a little too loud, but otherwise this is awesome. But I can't help wondering WHY the movies themselves couldn't have been as awesome as this soundtrack is. :( :( :(
