Say, "You don't know me or recognize my face" Say, "You don't care who goes to that kind of place" Knee deep in the hoopla sinking in your fight Too many runaways eating up the night

To be sure, slightly corny--but I still love it. Seriously though, this is a really classic song, and I was so happy when they started playing it in the 2011 Muppet movie.
This band was pretty damn good two name changes previous. Almost as good as skate boarding behind the local pizza joint with a hot pink board while rockin this gem.
It's a good song and I agree with Ghost Dog. It's catchy.

I get chills everytime it says "Marconi plays the mamba." This song stays in my head and makes a dork of me. After 10 years of not hearing this song, it has become one of my favorites. Very ironic since i hated this song before.
If a city were built using the Rock 'n Roll as the building code standards, it would crumble the first night.

I had the same thought. But I guess it has something to do with all this technology being used by the average man. "What hath God wrought" is now used by Ricky Ricardo.

Marconi plays the mamba...
What relation does the inventor of a radiotelegraph have to a mamba, in any sense of the word?
Used to play this on a saturday afternoon skate and all the 8 & 9 years always wanted to hear this. Can't stand this song, overplayed by this roller rink dj. back in the 80's.

Even thought it has been voted worst song ever many times it still has a special place in my heart. I LOVE IT!
This is most likely the most catchiest goddamned song in the history of Rock 'n Roll. That is why I love/hate it. I dare anybody to come up with a more catchy song than this.

sometimes you have no other choice than to build on rolling rocks, like in Haiti or California.
