a strangely eclectic, skewed view of the decade, I admit. plenty of goth, techno, new wave, punk, alternative, political + some ska and reggae; other stuff from the decade has migrated to the "house of funk" & "Tom Waits for no one" stations. many of the featured artists were in existing & recording long before 1980 and their members continued recording long after the group itself disbanded and the decade ended. covers of 80's favorites also make the cut.
