Visual Kei, a style of dress as well as a musical style, hails from Japan, where the Japanese have blended pop music with rock, electronica, metal, techno, classical, while simultaneously wearing outrageously colored and sized Victorian outfits. Mana-chan, leader of Malice Mizer and Moi dix Mois, along with X Japan, practically stared Visual Kei. L'Arc~en~Ciel is currently the most popular of the Visual Kei bands.
