What I've always loved is music that captures either the real-ness of soul, or wonder of electronica. I don't think that it's impossible to combine the two, and some of these artists are a testament to that. Not all of 'em, but some. Music with melody, or soul, will always have an undefinable and uniquely organic quality. Even if it's made with electricity. Sometimes especially.
