Hi All,

This station is centered around Thrash, specifically that created by the prime crew (incl. Clash of the Titans alum), focusing on their mid-80s through VERY early 90s output. This is the time when thrash burned brightest, in my opinion.

One of the inherent problems in creating a station such as this is filtering out most of the post-'92 content from nearly all of the essential bands featured. Most of these bands had released their seminal works by this point and were struggling to maintain relevance and sometimes radically re-invent themselves in the era of Grunge. While this fared well for some (Sepultura's "Roots" comes to mind!) it signaled the beginning of some long-protracted, past-prime autumnal creative phases for others (where to begin? Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, et al).

That said, I have nothing against any of these bands' later content, per se. But this station is about a moment frozen in amber. Hope you enjoy...
