First found a liking for instrumental metal when I came across  Metallica - (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth, and then got Jason Becker recommended to me.

This is a pretty wide genre, so I generally thumb-up the songs that have a solid chorus or good melodies.  Atomic Bitchwax - Force Field,  Walrus (Hard Rock) - Lummox,  Steve Vai - Juice, or  Black Nasa - Shabadoo would fit here.

This station is one of my lesser used ones, but I still tune in from time to time if I'm in the mood for some music that's a little less about the lyrics and mood and more about the individual phrases and musician's skill.
