Band, The Gap Band, The Dazz Band, The Time, Zapp, Midnight Star, Rick James, Atlantic Starr, Klymaxx, and more. Groups that had Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as producers are showcased here. Only good post-disco electronic funk is allowed here.

This is the kind of funk that gets you ready for a night on the town, the kind of funk that knows you want a little urban sophistication in your nightlife. Sure, your funk can get pretty greasy. But now is not the time.
