I first heard of Brandi Carlile when her song "The Story" was given away on iTunes. I was an immediate fan and downloaded the rest of the album and her previous self-titled album. Just by chance, my wife heard that should would be playing at the University of Arkansas as part of the student-sponsored concert series. It turned out to be a chilly and misty night and only about 100 fans showed up. Despite that, Brandi and her band put on an incredible show. I guess we made an impression on her as she is slated to come back to Fayetteville, AR for a one-night show with the Indigo Girls and lucky me, I have tickets!
