This 3-day festival has been around since 1962, with Gene Shay, "the Dean of the American folk DJs," serving as the Master of Ceremonies since the festival's inception. The festival attracts campers and day-trippers and is run almost entirely by volunteers. Artists featured this year include Steve Earle, Allison Moorer, the Great Big Sea and Judy Collins.
