People love this station more than any other Pandora station I've made.

As the name implies, it's a nice mix of Trip-Hop (roughly, electronic music which relies on the beats and vocalizations of hip-hop, but with the intricate sample textures and off-kilter editing of IDM or other experimental electronica) and Downtempo (a catch-all term for music with a defined beat-- unlike ambient-- that evokes a mellow, 'chill,' atmosphere by borrowing tempo and texture from dub, ambient, funk, jazz, pop and other sources).

The key is in the station tuning, and I've very selectively allowed a few atypical 'flavor' tracks to stay in the mix, while weeding out those which would spoil the groove.
