I've created this station as a sort of sister station to my Afro/Latin Lounge station to give listeners a taste of the beautiful sounds that modern Afro/Latin lounge music is rooted in. Full of traditional latin percussion, flamenco guitar elements and lots of brass, I've come to love the unique flavor of this form of music.

The vibrant, tropical vibes so prevelent in the traditional music of Latin coastal & island cultures is a thing of beauty and has such a unique soul all its own. From the halls of Cuba's Buena Vista Social Club where artists like Ibrahim Ferrer and Eliades Ochoa were the kings of all things Afro Cuban to the crystal shores of Rio De Janiero and the incomprable beauty of the Gilberto family, the royal family of Bossa Nova, this station is my attempt to share these wonderful sounds with the you.
