Brian Eno invented the term 'Ambient' to describe the minimal, subdued & synthesized style of music he helped to create. Not all of this music adheres to the definition of 'Ambient' but I have delected artists who reflect the early origins of Electronic music, such as Eno, his contemporaries and a few artists he influenced.
