This is a station to explore the constructive side of hip hop: political and message spreading to inform rather than ripping other artists.

Immortal Technique is harsh on the ears to many at first, but listening to his lyrics and finding online footage of his freestyle opens up a greater appreciation when attention is paid to him. He has one of the most harsh thematic songs I have ever heard, well crafted but a shock to the system in emotion and frank style.

Immortal Technique will always have a thumbs-up here, and any other artist's song who seem to have a social or political message. People like Mos Def; Dead Prez; Jedi Mind Tricks come to mind at first thought.

Thumb-down songs simply do not fit with the theme of the station - many are moved to my "Boneyard" station.
