Lorrie Morgan lends a very special voice to country music in my opinion. Her voice is beautiful and quite delicate.

I bought one of her greatest hits album and love it! My favorite songs are Dear Me, Except For Monday, What Part Of No and Watch Me. Also there's the song Good As I Was To You but that's not on the album.

Anyway, I stumbled across Lorrie via my Patty Loveless album and the two go hand in hand. Both stick to country's deeply seated roots, never straying far from that proverbial tree where it was planted so long ago. I admire both of them for that when so many modern "country" artists layer their music with the thick, glossy veneer of pop music and try to pass it off as country.

Lorrie's music is one of the greatest I've ever heard. By creating this station I hope I'll hear more of the stuff I've already fell in love with.
