This song is about looking back and seeing how far you came, and seeing life so beautifully.
I think the verse about I am afraid of changing because I built my life around you is particularly interesting. . . How can one love without becoming too dependent? Love and people are fragile and there could always be a landslide. Best to learn to love without dependency.
