Lord have mercy on your soul for a comment like that on Stevie ray. All time greatest blues player. What have you done with your life.
His music will live on forever!
Been in a few places like this.
The Godfather of blues! Played for the love of playing, and it's obvious!
Soooo glad I got to see him several times, and the night he died!

Wow wow wow your music will always live on
My has the same birthday as Stevie and didn't know it till the day passed on . That same day my brother went and bought a guitar and started playing he picked it up fast. I couldn't believe my ears.
Stevie was bad to the bone
They don't make music like this no more...
cool!!
I love Stevie Ray! Wish I could have seen him in concert. RIP
dbedson's comment is spot on. As I was listening to this beautiful song, I couldn't help but think who's the dummy on rhythm guitar that doesn't know the difference between major and minor?

He screwed up the first few minutes of the song, and I GUARANTEE Stevie was slightly irritated by it.
dbedson, seriously? i bet you b**ch about everything. awesome performance & you have to critique it.
dbedson
God bless Johnny Copland but it takes him about 2 minutes and 45 seconds to realize that this song is in a minor key. The beginning rhythm guitar is a little tough to listen to. Long live Stevie and Johnny!
this is the BLUES luv, luv, luv Stevie Ray where ever you are
I think the brown liquor is at my place, SRV is always back ground noise. said lightly.... RIP BROTHER!!!

technically buchanan might have been better but Stevie ray has the heart and soul of the blues and makes the guitar cry, laugh, scream, and bends it in ways no one else ever thought of. Have you ever heard his cover of voodoo child at carnegie hall. wow that was a master work. Motzart of blues
sethg_smith
Roy Buchanan is better in my mind, but they we're all greats of the guitar for sure RIP too all of em!!!
perfection
BETTER THAN JIMI!
