Yeah it's definitely a crazy comparison. I understand what kind of comparison he is trying to make, but that still doesn't make it a good one. Comparing yourself to a rapist/serial killer is a messed up, that's why I had to give it a thumbs down.
First heard this on the TV show "Nip/Tuck". It's an interesting song but as someone else stated, a song where the artist compares himself to a serial killer seems a little crazy. Maybe that's the idea though....
okay, yes, this is a little creepy. musically, it's so beautiful I had to give it a thumbs up.

I would never place a serial killer as an equal to me, or try to make any comparisons. People who are capable of committing murder have a different way of perceiving life and the value of the lives of others. There is a vast psychological gap between murderers, especially serial killers, and normal people. Give me a break.
i think the premise of the song is good and aspires to look into the heart of what makes a serial killer; however, i have given this one a complete thumbs down; yeah, it creeps me out; if i had children, they would not be allowed to listen to this song; i respect what the artist is doing, and that said, this is art, but for me, it is definitely not entertainment. nails on chalkboard.
My best friend's dad was John Wayne Gacy's best friend. His dad took him to a couple of parties where Gacy was a clown, when my friend was little boy. His dad still has a bunch of Gacy's drawings.
This song is melodically beautiful, and I feel it's communicating the idea that every person possesses the same capacity to commit evil acts, in that way we're all the same. We can't overlook what John did, we have to take actions to prevent it from happening again, but we cannot condemn him as we ourselves are human and the same as him.
along with those secrets it also says we have to look "under the house" of ourselves to find those "mistakes" we are guilty of. i totally love it and give it a 10

This one's creepy. Who writes a song that shows a serial killer in a sympathetic light, really? But in truth, it presents a very spiritual idea - if we're all "sinners", then each of us is guilty of hiding our own mistakes behind the facade of kindness-- we can't call ourselves 'better' than anyone else; even perhaps a killer. It calls for a total commitment to loving & forgiving our neighbors. Shocking ideas all 'round! Still, it's a touching song, in spite of the subject matter.

My best guess is that he's just trying to say that we all have secrets.
Ya know?
