The younger sister of Nashville superstar Reba McEntire, Christian country performer Susie Luchsinger was born and raised in Chockie, OK; after graduating Oklahoma State University she toured behind her successful sibling, also lending backing vocals to Reba's 1981 album Heart to Heart and its 1982 follow-up Unlimited. Following her marriage to rodeo champion Paul Luchsinger, she launched her solo career into the stratosphere with 1993's Real Love, which notched no less than four chart-topping hits on the Positive Country charts; subsequent efforts include 1995's Come as You Are and 1999's Raised on Faith. My Gospel Hymnal appeared in summer 2001. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
I heard Near the Cross one day on my Pandora and had to see who was singing so beautifully. I had no idea Susie is Reba's sister but she can really sing and touched my heart. She is now on my list to play daily. God bless Susie. Linda Chartier Savannah, Texas
Susie, sang for me and 50 others in the little town of Antelope Oregon. Lawnchairs on a hot summer afternoon, blankets on the grass outside the doors of the country chapel. We enjoyed the sofe breeze and her incrediable soothing voice as Gods Word and message washed us using her lovely voice, A MARKED DAY in my appreaciation for her talent and heart! Bless you Susie! You Honor our God and Country, and your holy love for your Spouse. ( he was so sick from the plane ride that day ) poor guy...
It is good to see you on Pandora. I remember many many years ago when you were first staring that you and your family came to my home in Denver and spent the night and sang at our church. Sound even better now. God Bless.
