Terror

Terror is an L.A.-based hardcore band formed by East Coast transplant, vocalist Scott Vogel, formerly lead singer with Buffalo, NY, bands like Despair, Sludgefest, and Buried Alive. Founded in April 2002 shortly after Vogel's relocation, Terror issued a four-song demo that circulated among the underground scene before releasing a 7" through Takeover Records. A bunch of touring later, the guys -- further including guitarist Todd Jones (ex-Carry On), and First Blood members, drummer Nick Jett (also of Carry On and Piece by Piece), bassist Carl Schwartz, and guitarist Doug Weber -- signed with Bridge 9 and entered a Cleveland studio to record. The resulting nine-song EP Lowest of the Low was released in January 2003, and (true to form) the band spent the rest of the year touring, including a stint in Europe with Biohazard. With Frank Novinec replacing Jones, Terror signed with Trustkill Records, and issued two albums of metallic hardcore through the label: 2004's One with the Underdogs and 2006's Always the Hard Way. Schwartz had left the band prior to Christmas 2005 to concentrate fully on First Blood and he was replaced on bass by Jonathan Buske; Novinec left as well, in his case to join Hatebreed, and Martin Stewart (ex-Donnybrook!) was soon welcomed on second guitar. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi

Self destruct!
They are called Trolls
I love how people randomly pick out mistakes on Pandora bios. They are consistently short on facts, riddled with errors, or cut/copied from wikis.

Another note: Terror good
Terror is an amazing hardcore band! Still love Buried Alive more tho! Best hardcore band in my opinion.
RETURN TO STRENGTH! UNDERDOGS

SLUGFEST, not Sludgefest, folks.
Just for the record... Punk rock was born mid 70's, Heavy Metal was born late 70's early 80's, Thrash Metal was Born mid 80's, Death Metal was born late 80's early 90's, Black Metal was born early 90's

Hardcore was born as a sub-genre of Punk rock in the late 70's and evolve as a independent rock music genre.
They are not metal at all!!, no metalcore, no death metal, they're true pure HARDCORE and never tried to be metal (yes HC is a independent rock music genre)...my friend, Hardcore was here first than metal (born from Punk rock yeah back in the late 70's)...at some point in history, metal tried to be more like hardcore and that's how thrash metal was born for example. So learn a little more about music before writing comments like that.
cpezzin
too legit to quit
Well they aren't metal that's for damn sure, original fliip. They really aren't what I would consider metal, or at least what I would consider good metal. At most they are a pretty decent metalcore band, and at least they are a shoddy excuse for a death metal band. But I'm a metal snob so maybe they are metal, they just don't measure up to any of the metal from the Great Dark North. If they are trying to be hardcore then they aren't doing it right. They should take cues from His Hero is Lost.

CHAIN REACTION THIS SUNDAY GO SEE TERROR I AM
Dorian AKA punk guy has apparently no idea that Terror is what Scott Vogel has been doing for over 10 years (in other words not the "new wave of hardcore"). ahh... kids these days.:(
This is the first time I've heard Terror and I think they kick a**. They have a very good structure to their music. From one band member to the next these guys fit the bill perfectly. They may look like high school nerds that got picked on throughout their lives, but hey maybe that's what got them to be able to play such good music.
Terror is an interesting band, I've warmed up to them as I've gotten older, but they really aren't stuff to listen to when I want brutality, they're like a laughable mix of punk and metalcore. I call them laughable because of how bad a** they think they are. But they are the new wave of hardcore, but Jello Biafra is probably laughing his a** off at these guys.
tannerryan66
Then dont listen and skip right over to your Def Leppard.
griffin317
God this music is so annoying.
tannerryan66
"SARAH" Im sorry to say but for someone who listens to LIL KIM and PARAMORE you dont have s**t for room to talk about or let alone judge TERROR. WTF you even doing here.

kicks a**,nuff said,if its to hard n heavy for ya... move along.
this kicks a** like it
Sea of Treachery is not hardcore. I do enjoy Sea of Treachery but they're defintely more metalcore than hardcore.
If you want a "better message" then go to church chump... Terror is the definition of Hardcore.
YEP! Gotta give it to 'em! This is the S**t!
konniving_ki b i t z e r 9 6
I think this style is RIDICULOUS, but as long as it is never associated with any form of respectable metal i can ignore it. I find nothing appealing about this music. The content is solely based upon being as 'hard' as possible. They take themselves so seriously, but i can help but laugh. Watch their music videos and laugh with me everyone.

Good hardcore with a better message than 'fight everyone': For the Fallen Dreams, It Prevails, Sea of Treachery, American Me, Passing in Dreams.
F**k you kids that dont know that this is REAL hardcore not that stupid f**king new cliche s**t
You people need to learn to respect one of the few bands who have played straightforw a r d hardcore so consistantly over the years. Their sound is so consistant and methodical. Anyone who likes anything about hardcore should love this band!
Death By Stereo is for Faggots. Terror owns s**t.
