Raised on a steady diet of the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and Billy Joel, singer/songwriter/pianist Tim Halperin had already released a debut EP before entering the public spotlight as a contestant on the 2010 season of American Idol. Halperin never made it into the Top Ten, but the amiable Fort Worth, Texas native endeared himself to audiences by being one of the first contestants to debut an original song.
