Time Again

Unconcerned that they had no songs written or even a full band put together, Time Again vocalist Daniel Dart and guitarist Elijah Reyes booked themselves some shows in the summer of 2004 and began a heavy promotional campaign of stickers and flyers all around Los Angeles. It wasn't until a few days before their first gig that the entire group even came together; the enthusiastic duo was rounded out just in time by bassist Brian "Boom-Boom" Burnham and a drummer (who was replaced by Ryan Purucker the following January). Time Again -- a punk revivalist band with old-school aesthetics and a sound akin to Rancid -- was officially born. The guys continued to play in and around their hometown, eventually issuing their self-titled EP on Rancid Records the next June. Expanding in 2005 to venues outside of California, the group found itself sharing stages with bands like Social Distortion, the Circle Jerks, the Aquabats, and the Adolescents, to name a few. Their hard work quickly paid off, inking a deal with Hellcat Records (the Tim Armstrong-run Epitaph imprint) by January 2006. Their full-length debut, The Stories Are True, surfaced that April. ~ Corey Apar, Rovi

F**k all u mutherfucker s Time Again is f**king bad s**t.And Rancid is f**king God
You aren't punk. You are a judge like the rest. Go back to hot topic and work on your style some more rebel
Rip offs? So then the only original would be the first guy to bang on a rock with a stick? Everyone else would be ripping him off right?
I cant even understand one word they are saying
rancid sux? why dont you grow a pair and realize rancid plays for those who dont have a voice such as yourself, grow up, its music, rancid problably influenced some bands you listen to, so appreciate the music.
Top favs punk bands oi! Words of a former skin
v which wilmington??
laprice08
love time again
f**k all of you who are talking s**t
(Wilmington)
who cares? its punk. its opinionated. w e each get a say but is it really worth b*tching online about that much? the guy found religion. i hope he's happy with it. 12 yrs like the band and i hope it gets them involved even more with music and punk
rancid sucks. These guys are good. I'd hardly call that ripping them off.
"tim" again blows! I appreciate bands who have great influences {for example, I love listening to Rancid and the Clash, even though one is influenced by another, because they both make great music} but this is awful. saw them open twice for two bands I actually like and looked like the crowd agreed with me {except the 12 year olds there}
Bravo man. This guy understands this s**t! We shouldn't have to care about the s**t you say about us. John deserves a f**king party with Jesus.
why you hating on the band for having a Mormon that goes on a mission? isn't punk rock all about individualit y and not selling out your personal beliefs anyway? so the guy decides to go on a mission, is that any worse than Billy Joel wearing eyeliner? the guy had a record deal and decided to hang it up for his own personal beliefs, what could be more punk rock?
this stuff is good,i like it
feagley- rancid is just a rip-off of the sex pistols and the clash, so I wouldn't talk.

I only heard one song (Fallen Nation) but really dig this. Sure it sounds similar to Rancid but it has its own unique feel as well. I wish there were more bands with this raspier revivalist punk sound.
I always thought ol Timmy was kinda overrated, but then Brody kept my loyalty in the divorce so es la via I guess. But these guys are definately a different sound, even if its subtle. you guys are too quick to b**ch about good music. Whats your band sound like f**kers?
gallagha1
Its tim armstrong but it isn't. I love op ivy and rancid to much not to enjoy this. Haven't seen em live though and that certainly would count in my judgement.
ur gay, f**kin rancid rip offs
ehwells7
Time Again just went on hiatus because one of thier guitarists is going on his Mormon mission....n o joke...This band isn't too good anyways, so no big deal.
phleebusmacg e n t r y
I thought this was Mr Armstrong and had to do a double take. A great substitution .
Better than most
> Ok
Alright I guess
I've heard better
Wow, his voice is like someone else's, so he's not original. That's logical, I guess.
one of those dudes sounds too much like tim, in my opion he's not origanal enough, but these guys ain't too bad.
