Ascendancy is just their most popular album. Yeah, it's heavy, there's growling. But a. The Crusade was freakin' awesome, and b. Shogun is even better! How can you say "To The Rats" wasn't 'hard'? How can you say "Kirisute Gomen" wasn't 'hard'? Holy heck, dude.

automan nothing was new or original on shogun. there is not one song that sticks out in my mind on that album. And i bought it first week it was released. nothing impressive, and i was looking forward to it for months
Fwalega, you're f**ked up in the head. I can see where people were turned off by The Crusade (which I personally thought was great) but Shogun being weak? Are you f**king deaf? Easily one of the best metal albums of the past decade.
Ascendancy was easily their best album. I wish they would get back to the hard s**t. The crusade sucked and shogun was kinda weak.
