Twisted Method was a young nu-metal band from Cape Coral, FL. Assembling around vocalist Derek Tibbett, guitarist Andy Howard, bassist Derek DeSantis, and drummer Ben Goins, the band began to slowly build a local following for its heavily derivative sound, but struck gold when an opening slot for another struggling act led to interest from a local promoter, who secured a few label showcases for the youngsters. As the story goes, MCA signed the band on the strength of its live show -- no demo tape needed. The label issued Twisted's debut, Escape From Cape Coma, in July 2003, and the group was sent out to spread the word with a run of second-stage Ozzfest gigs. ~ Johnny Loftus, Rovi
Have to agree with brianna. These guys are amazing to say the least! Tripp has excellent stage presence. Was invited backstage to visit, and seem to be really down to earth group of guys.
I can't believe that no one has commented about these guys yet.. here, I'll start you out. Twisted Method is one SICK band. Tripp has got to be one of the best frontmen ever. To say they're show is energized is an understatement. They easily won the respect of the headliners of Ozfest, including Korn and Disturbed. It was a terrible loss for music-kind when guitarist Andy Howard passed away. Twisted Method is now Makeshift Romeo, minus one badass guitarist.
