I can't pick a favorite. There's very little in his catalog I wouldn't fave. He always gets my blood moving. He really is unique; no one else is quite like him.
In my humble opinion Moondance is Van's greatest album. Not just based on sales but there is not a single week track. And it Stoned Me.

You know, I never had a problem with Van Morrison, but i didn't feel like he fit my station, and i've Thumb'd down about 40 of his songs, and Pandora just keeps putting them on, almost more than any other artist. It's sort of making me hate Van Morrison, who I used to like. Thanks, Pandora Fail.

My husband and I are huge fans, and some years back went to great pains to buy VTM tickets for a concert in Newcastle. (We live in FL). Great city, not a great concert, but I felt wonderful to be in his presence. His music is transcendent , even if his live performances sometimes aren't. Wish I'd have been there the night they recorded A Night In San Francisco. THAT was a great show!!!!
