R&B singer/songwriter Vesta Williams shot to success with her 1986 hit "Once Bitten, Twice Shy"; Vesta 4 U, issued two years later, launched another smash, "Congratulations." Subsequent efforts were less successful, however, and after 1993's Everything-N-More, she left longtime label A&M; a five-year hiatus preceded the release of Vesta's next LP, Relationships, and the covers set Distant Lover followed in 2007. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
One of the best song r&b/soul songs... and one of my top 3 favorites...full of passion, emotion and heart. Vesta...and her sultry and sexy voice??!!! Whew..This was truly one of the most underrated hits in music (should have crossed over for sure!!). Grateful that her gift is still here for us to enjoy!

You Still Do It this is my first time hearing this song and I liked it when the music first started this is good music I wish we had artists that still make these kind of songs :)
Vesta was friend my heart. I would of never dreamed in a millions years she would of passed away and they still dont know why. My heartbreak of 2011. I will be sad for the rest of my life. I love you always and forever.

Vesta, where have you gone. I really enjoyed your music. Your voice produced a melodic sound that was very soothing. Come back, because we need artists like you, to lay the foundation for our young and up coming artist.
Vesta whom we all fell head over heels in love with the moment that we heard her voice sounding a little like Shaka Chan yet so very much smoother. This sista was destoned for greatness until some record label producer felt that a full figered woman wasn't sexy enough. The label dropped her well I've never stopped loving her even watch the movie Possie over dozon times just to see her.
