The best Christmas music ever........ .
I just saw a great documentary about this jazz musician. It is called "The Anatomy of Vince Guaraldi, about his early SF days. Includes footage from the 1960s when he recorded his break through hit, 'Cast your fate to the wind.' That tune changed his life and opened lots of doors for him. This is a new documentary, I saw it in Dec. 2010. It is just out and not in wide distribution . Saw it at a film festival. Great!

Love Vince Guaraldi's holiday jazz...it takes me back to my childhood and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Now my son is learning to play Linus and Lucy on the piano...so we hear it all the time!
His music has the ability to express melancholy and joy at the same time.

Vince Guaraldi is one of the best jazz piano players of all time. His Charlie Brown Christmas album was the 1st holiday album I ever purchased. The music never gets tired and never gets old. I love it and recommend it very highly. It is one of the best, if not the best, holiday album of all time. No question!
